• My favorite living crime writer, Michael Connelly, will be on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on November twenty-ninth. I can't wait for The Drop. Janet Maslin liked it.
• I just realized that Bookslut has a feature called "Star-Crossed." How long have I missed this? In any case, this month's column features George Eliot and Fyodor Dostoevsky.
