Tomorrow, Sweden hands out the Nobel Prize in Literature. I stopped caring about the Nobel Prize sometime last October, but Amos Oz--whom I predicted would win last year--is the odds-on favorite. Few people would be surprised to see him win, which is probably why he won't.
Ivan KlĂma, communist party member, probably won't win, either, but I'm picking him as 2009's Nobel literature laureate. But keep an eye out for the dark horse: this year's winner could be a poet.
